Thanks for sharing the information. Prague Christmas market looks very lively and fun, people seem to have great fun in Christmas. I feel very jealous we don't have any Christmas market in our city.

It is!

OK. that makes sense. I figures it was roasted something, just didn't know what the something was. I wonder if it's like the roasted chestnuts they sell on the streets of New York City.

Cathy - 'Conker' is what British people call the hard shiny brown nut of a horse chestnut tree which is inedible. What was on offer from the stall were sweet chesnuts which you can eat once they have been 'roasted' rather than 'rousted'!

Lovely photos.

I agree with your assessment about Christmas feeling less threatening than Easter. I think also at Easter they have to think about their salvation which is something a lot of people would rather not think about.

I am curious. What are conkers??

Hey Ricky, thanks for sharing. That all looks incredible. My husband has a Czech friend and he's invited us to spend this Christmas in Prague, I can't wait. I love Christmas markets and that one in your blog looks very enjoyable.
